A thought…

Only when you feel regret, do you reflect on some of the best memories of your life. Doesn’t life have any room for mending broken bonds?

How bout that?

Within such a short period of time, everything can change. It goes to show that each second you live should be considered a decade of good memories. Time is of the essence. And I plan on not being wasteful.

Julian.

Don’t ever forget where you come from.

-Love, Drunk Julian.

New Light!

No matter what, I have so many ideas for this next fall semester!! KSIG at the maximum!

Thoughts from this semester

Well, looks like this fall session is just about done! Woohoo! Problem is… This summer is about to make or break me! A new frontier of being a young adult. Scary but exciting at the same time.

Since TOGA is out of the way, I can focus on school. Let’s do it!

To be “level-headed”

Throughout this week, I’ve heard that word used often. More often then expected. And since I can’t quite grasp the term’s definition, I feel like I should write it down now in case I forget…

To be “level-headed”:

-There’s a building that is standing directly on an earthquake fault line. You decide to build additional floors on the structure until it almost touches the sky. A 9.0 earthquake hits your area. Every tall building is destroyed. Including yours. The time it took for you to add the new floors and everything inside them was put to WASTE. How do you feel?

-Say you build a 1 story building on this same exact fault line. The time it took to add levels to the taller building could have been applied to making the lesser earthquake proof and more stable. Thus, guaranteeing its survival.

-This, to me, is the best description of “level-headed”. To have far too much on your plate then you needed, is overwhelming and can cause your overall downfall. Yet, to have on another plate a smaller, more organized portion with great thought and more efficiency is SMARTER.

I look at myself and see… That I’m not level-headed. I need to prioritize! This summer will be the test.

What’s happiness?

Happiness is the ability to push forward, love what you experience, cherish who you meet along the way, and remember that no matter where you end up in the long run-you will never be lost.

I will never forget where I come from. But I know I’ll be a far distance from where I first started. Never again will I look back, there is only time to look forward.

New happenings are for the better, and thus, I am happy.

What’s happiness to YOU?

Welllll…

Tonight was eventful, frustrating (work) and not to mention, very proDUBtive. I’m proud to say that I’m officially a dubstep fan and always will be until I’m 80ish. My marriage song will be “cinema” by skrillex, my baby’s first words will be SCATTA, and I’ll name my dog FLUX. Ehh, maybe not flux, but I’ll be blasting dub while trying to figure out his name.

As for this blog thing, most of my posts will get a lil more…interesting and knowledgeable… But in the meantime, I’m wired as hell and I need to go to sleep. Nite world! - Jules.
